I officially retract this statement. This market looks weak as hell right now.

With that said, I'm sure it will set an all time high tomorrow.

It's a fluid situation if there ever was one. Need to be nimble.

I see a big short play starting to set up. Similar to the one from Jan 19 to Jan 25 (which saw the S&P futures drop about 260pts over that timespan....not saying it will drop 260 points in the near future, just that the signs for a decent-sized move down are forming).

Will wait for the necessary pullback before I make the call.

timing is the toughest thing ever... i have these markets going down 40% off the top by the end of March... i know i am born to be wrong, but if the downside volume lines up the right way, i will be right. Jim Cramer says there is always a bull market somewhere, and that will appear with precious metal mining stocks once the first rate hike is announced. i 'd say the bottom on those things will be in 2 days after Powell announces the first rate hike. which could be March 16 or sooner. all you really have to know is that the Rothchilds have been correct about gold for centuries, and that family will have this one right as well.

also maybe, you could expect the markets to be close to bear territory by the time the rate hike comes in, and finishes is first leg down by the end of March. for the last 40 years or so, April has been a decent month for equities, and that could be when you get a bounce before any further decline.

So its a little more expensive to borrow...right?

Which stocks gets hit?

Do stocks with big cash positions are better off?

Stocks with no debt still gets hit?
