Which member here would you want to meet in person?

I would have to go with Just Ralph as we seem to share the same values and I see him as very bright , someone who could handle a lot of tasks and do them well. I would like to meet Mostpost as I would be curious why he turned out to be such a nasty person, something is not right there. Pick any one, 2 or as you see fit and explain.

Come to think of it I met one of them at Saratoga……

Interesting thread. Lots of newbies since the last Saratoga get together.

I've met mostpost in one of the PA Arlington gatherings, among other people. Everyone was very pleasant and weren't loud about any of their political leanings on the days we got together.

As for your question,
lamboguy would certainly be an interesting one...

So Mostpost doesn't mouth off in person? Who would have thought. I did not know there were PA meet and greets. I am in for the next one. I decided to collect Social Security a month ago as I just turned 62, and have health problems they don't want to treat, from severe pain. Back in the day I just popped pain pills and got back to work. By the age of 19 I had collected a broken neck, broken back and a skull fracture. You cannot get help for the long term pain those injuries cause, due to the opioid crisis. At least taking Social Security, I can have income when I cannot work. Give me some pills for pain and the muscle spasms, and I can work 60 hr weeks.

I'd like to meet Margie Rose and Jocko. Jocko would have a million Navy stories I'd love to hear. Margie is a straight shooting lady that i always love being around. I'd just keep feeding them drinks at Just Ralphs restaurant.

Don't think the meets have happened in many years. I go back to 2012 the last time at Arlington so been awhile.

Most bulldogs on internet forums are something else when in person. It has been pleasant meeting everyone from here and other boards over the years...many of whom I'm still friends with and talk to outside of racing.

The one I would like to meet is Rook. He hasn't posted in quite a while, so I hope that he is well. He reminds me of me when I was young.

The one I always wanted to meet was Hcap, believe it or not. Would love to sit down and have a friendly chat to see if I could get inside his head to understand him better.

Purple Power met with us near Baltimore at my wife’s restaurant about 11 years ago. He was a great. real Horse person. I spent a day with him at Keeneland too. Great guy.

Ummm. Tom for sure.....I would also like to meet Mike (PA). Come to think of it, I would like to meet most (not mosty) on here.... (just being honest). He called me something one time that in all honestly, I am not sure any meeting with him would go well.
Thask seems like a real down to earth guy as well. With him having a different perspective (being from Greece I think), would love to sit and hear his thoughts versus what he has been exposed to that most of us here can't seem to grasp or understand.
A huge problem that most of us here have is our "American Way or the highway".
I have served and love this country as much as ANYONE else. However, I do believe that taints our perspectives at times.

How very nice of you to say, Jimmyb. I think meeting you and Jocko at Just Ralph's restaurant would be a hoot!
