Maybe I'm weird, but I sort of admire Alvarado on Speaker's Corner for riding smart and not gift-wrapping the Met Mile for Flightline.

i was friendly with Jimmy the Greek, we rented houses in Saratoga for the summer. the greek used to bring donuts to Woody Stevens and Scotty Schulhoffer every day and another one of the Greek's friends was Pete Anderson who was an x rider that trained for Hobeau Farm second string to Allen Jerkens.
