There's something you don't see very often

Race 7 at Evangeline, #1 unseated the rider and started down the track in the wrong direction, scattering much of the field in the stretch, and forcing much of the field to pull up. Of course, the stewards called a no-race, something that we don't see every day.

Guess the outriders are on about the same level as the jocks at these C level tracks.

I saw that last night - feel sorry for the poor slobs who bet the "winner" then get a refund. Those riders sure pulled up in a hurry, to their credit.

I was surprised the track announcer was not yelling a warning? Just once on the backstretch. Maybe they can't hear on the track.

Wednesday nights are prime racing action now that summer is here.
