When I was in 8th grade my history teacher, Mr. Flannigan, would always call me up to his desk during reading time and bring out his racing form and ask me what I thought of a particular race. I had seen him at Pleasanton earlier that summer and that's when he realized I knew some things about reading a form.

My 9th grade gym teacher did the same thing with me! He’d have the form tucked in his back pocket and would break it out when we has a few minutes at the end of the period. Lol

I still see him around the track when I go!
