Well, you need all the elements to cause it:
1. Multiple moves in the same direction.
2. All of which caused the second place finisher to take up and alter course.
3. Victory by a short winning margin such that the result might have been different.
4. No traffic or other extenuating/mitigating circumstnaces.
So I doubt all those things happen in one race very often. If they did, the stewards should have called it as they did here.

Wow 3rd at GP
knocks into the fairly hard once and not as hard two more times, and wins by 1/2 a head. You cannot tell me those bumps did not cost the

I thought that was going to be a very quick DQ, surprising no-call

with pennington clearly comes out and bumps no inquiry takes a jockey objection to get them blinking no change. Is this favortism towards jockey trainer.

Gulfstream Park 9
Entering into the Stretch the comes directly out and blasts into the . Should have clearly been a take down of the , but, the Stewards leave him up. This is the type of race that I find maddening in horse racing. The game is already hard enough.

GP has pretty much allowed this sort of result to stand the last few weeks.

Unfortunately, that one comes at a point where the head on and the view switches. You can't see for sure what happens. I suspect the jockeys are well aware of this too.

Thank you for your insight/explanation CJ!! I guess that I may be a little bit of sour grapes on that race yesterday, however, that was sort of my play of the day, so, I readily admit that I am just a bit aggravated.
On to the Next Race!!

Laurel Race 6 is the craziest DQ I've ever seen. It was a very minor brush up against and they take the 1 down. I had the nine to win and made out. But still a crazy DQ imo.

That was a terrible DQ in my opinion. No way it had any impact on the order of finish.

Wonder what a new camera would cost?
Probaby get one at Amazon by Tuesady...... God, what a pathetically lame business racetracks are. Are lobotomies a requirement to working at a track?

I had been clobbered worse at GP and never caught this sort of break.
