I thought this was established legal precedent via a disclaimer printed on EVERY ticket in the NFL which states, in general, IF you go on the field the NFL is not responsbile for your well being...It was under this statndard was established YERAS AGO when the same thing happened at a game in Pittsburgh.

Trespassing into an electric field station then claiming damages falls into the same ball park.

A friend of mine had to shut his business after he was successfully sued by burglar that broke into his store though the roof. The thief got caught and cut by the roof's razor wire on his way out and had to be rescued by the fire department.

I heard a lawyer on the radio today. He said that the 2 players are considered team employees just like the security guys. They have a common law right to assist security in apprehending an individual who is putting others in danger. The fact that he was carrying a flammable object made him a danger to “everyone in the stadium”
