I like the TFUS "Power Picks" exacta here—maybe even the tri, , , .
Hard to argue with the favorite, . Synth to dirt not the strongest move for Cox, but this animal improved its fig on the surface switch two back, if not its finish order. Cox has gaudy stats otherwise, and surely bet accordingly. Always a bit of risk passing half a dozen horses, but this one's capable enough. Might bet to win at ML or better, but more likely include in verticals.
Second I like . I'd be delighted with the ML 6/1 fourth choice, but I don't think we get that. Looks to come from last, and capable of that, but could easily find trouble. Good one to key in verticals if it's not second choice.
Any of these guys could run in the money: , , , , . - The looks to have the best odds, so I'll focus on him accordingly. I just think that one has lots of upside in its fourth race after putting up a decent fig with trouble last out, and trouble before that. Of course the trouble may return, but happy to risk that at 20/1.
- I was most on the fence about tossing the . Decided not to toss because McPeek does well with this kind of race and I prefer him to his stablemate.
- The just seems to belong here off the last two, and can improve on that, but another coming from way back.
- The and are fine, but I prefer the higher prices from this group. Curious to see if actually goes off at its ML. Being up front distinguishes them from all the closers.
I can do without the , , , , which isn't much of a stand, as they're four of the last five on the ML, along with my .

this is not a race i want favs in. maybe the 9 with a few others but you can't depend or respect any of them. they don't really stick out enough.
stewart just throws longshot shit at the wall in the big races hoping for he best. but strava looks like he's getting better. at least you have unknown factor with him. and he looks fast enough next to the other slow nags in the race.

good luck guys.
is a cool horse, but may have to go against post and pace today.
draws maybe better, and fits the class today
probably has the most Kentucky Derby respect from me. Probably a relatively fair test to get some more points or somewhat risk elimination.
is easy to root for
seems pretty obvious as a potential mid-range. Projected forward and another Winstar owned horse also one of the probably pace setters. Always has taken money. Big morning line price. If he isn't taking some action in multis, I'd consider that to be 'cold'.

even if he wins. 2-1 on the 2 is awful on so many levels.
you have to include the 2-9 in exactas as well. even if you don't like

doesn't look probable based on his races, but maybe the 3 can put the field to sleep on the front end and hang on for at least 2nd. positive jock switch.
like the jock change on the 10 as well

5-1 was pretty good value for a horse that looked like he would vie for favoritism. rolled by nicely. too bad it was a slow race beating nobody
