Where did you see this? Misgendering can be done by accident, They are no different in terms of disparagement. Whether you do it to a POC or LGBT it's the same thing. You're insulting someone because they are different from you. Why do you care what someone else does that doesn't affect you?

It seems to me it does affect him, or you, or me, or anyone that can be punished by fine or imprisonment or social ostracization for using the english language as intended.

If being themselves doesn't inconvenience others, be my guest. Problem is many trans people intrude on others. Something with a penis does not belong in the girls bathroom, locker room or competing with or against them in athletics. Even if one has it chopped off, if born a man they do not belong in women's athletics.
