I think it's easy for her to sit in Congress and read prepared statements, and it's easy to campaign for a de facto safe seat. But now that she really has to get out there and interact and be a personality of some basic level, she is constantly proving that she's just not good enough...not even close. That was first made clear during the pre-primary season.
And yes, there may be a "medicinal" aspect to her performances.
