I think it will be a while before I do that again after seeing this.
This was a maiden hurdle in the UK featuring some good horses from some good barns (think Chad Brown, Christophe Clement and Bill Mott having runners in a NYRA maiden turfer).

The ultimate winner was the very expensive (for jumps horses) 570,000 pound purchase making his debut over hurdles, who wound up taking the lead about 1/4 of the way in once they started running and jumped beautifully throughout.
The stewards brought in all the jockeys after the race, and each one related that they'd been instructed to let someone else "make the running" and drop in behind!!!!!
