Kommiefornia Ammo Law "Misfires"
Judge: California can't require background checks for ammo
I love one of the premises behind this judge's rationale:
The judge argued that the checks hurt legal ammo buyers while doing little to prevent criminals from obtaining firepower. "Criminals, tyrants and terrorists don’t do background checks," Benitez wrote.

Jersey vets ammo sales the constitutional way via licensing.
That’s the way to uphold the constitution and still regulate ammo sales.

That's interesting to me because - not an hour ago - I was buying some new 30-round mags for my AR15 and the guy in front of me was "carded" for buying 5 packs of 9-mil ammo.
The store clerk told him that his security check should be done within two weeks. (He did say it would probably be much sooner, but that's not the point.)
I live in Nevada.

I hadn’t heard of security checks in Nevada for ammo. When did this happen?

I live is Missouri and work at FT Leavenworth in Kansas. You do not need a permit to conceal carry in either state - as long as you are legally allowed to own the gun.

Same laws here in New Hampshire, and I have been splitting bulk buys of ammo and reload components with friends for many years.

Wait until the Governor steps in and changes this outcome. It won't be long.

All he can do is kick it upstairs on appeal.

Governor already has a loaded gun he needs to address - the army of homeless people on the streets who have NO IDEA what COVID is, nor take ANY precautions, social distancing, PPE, NOTHING.
We will see just what his priorities are.

Lol...but criminals, tyrants, terrorists need to be vetted before getting a gun etc licence and the store owners must veriify the license...I think that all persons should need to go to local police stations and get an temp pass to buy guns etc and ammo lol ,locally , that they store owners can verify with a phone call or directly...or perhaps the only place one can buy same would be out of an police run office / building...and thus all buyers can be vetted properly...an idea only...
