#2 Take it Easyplease in the 7th at SA today has a workout listed for June 13th. She also raced that afternoon.

I think it's not uncommon to take a horse out in the morning on it's race day to loosen up or for a blow. But I would consider a timed breeze would be highly unusual.

Seen this a few times over the years. Most interesting was on November 7,2004.....Horse named Deputy Storm wins the 7th race at Churchill Downs with a 3f workout that morning....at Belmont Park.
