Don't look now...Fed Chair Powell is literally tanking the markets
Now that I've posted this...you need to BUY BUY BUY and see if the theory holds...
S&P futures @ 4153

So....yeah...the good news is S&P hit 4217 as a high today
bad news is it's sitting at 4084 right now...

some of these numbers have been fairly predictable. the question one should have is do we have enough confidence in the Fed Chairman, and then the government (whoever that is) to bring the economy back. i am skeptical on both cases. i have been skeptical since 2011, so naturally, i have been wrong for a long long time. i haven't trusted 2002 that much either. ultimately, again, ultimately this market will go all the way back to the year 2000. this has been one bad ass century.

since this is a prediction thread, after some very careful calculations, o see no meaningful bottom to the S+P until June of 2023. there is to much energy built up to the downside now that it would be close to impossible to find anything positive until then. its just a question how much they get it to go down from here.

The US Dollar hit a 20 year high today, coupled with 3.5% unemployment, lowest in 50 years. 5 decades.

I highly doubt that those unemployment numbers are close to correct. I doubt they've been correct for a year, or more, now.
