CEO buy

in Remax RMAS, unusual because most people expect the real estate market to tank.

my favorite Senator Tommy Tubberville

he has plunked down $350,000 buying future contracts for corn, soybeans and wheat.

the part that is good about this is that Tom sits on a Senate Agricultural committee and might have good insight into where prices are headed.

The bad part is that it's a conflict of interest.

my recent list has not produced to many winners in the last few weeks. you might want to put them on the back burner for late fall this year. its extremely tough to buck the downward trend and be on the long side of things overnight

i got no idea. but what i think is that these guys should know more than me about their own company.

there are plenty that i have been posting here that the CEO has paid more than the stock is going for now... my best example is SOFi which i am in @ $5.81. the CEO bought in over $7. stock now $5.40. i have only paid that stock long so far. i missed getting more shares by a penny a few days ago.

All I can think of is that these CEO's are buy the dip thinking its bottom...from prior lows

Theres 2 options.....

It dips lower so they buy again....averaging out

or it goes up and they are winners...

when stocks move up or down, there is usually some fundamental reason for it.

i brought up SOFI because there was some rumor going on that government was going to do something with them.. not only did the CEO buy in, but 5 or 6 congressmen did too. so i ate the story up for breakfast and went in with it.

if the rumor is ever true, the stock should shoot up 5 fold or more. its a big if though.
