The media is extremely guilty of lying by omission, that is their favorite game.
Not only by how they often tell one side of the story by leaving out important facts, they also pick and choose what stories to cover due to their bias.
If you watch ABC national news you would think a cop never killed a white suspect or a minority ever committed an act of racism.

History repeating itself
The MSM and journalists are "enemies of the people".
Hitler and Mussolini thought so, too.

Mainstream media exposed a bunch of US government wrongdoings. Why is the fake news form the MAGAphones sources parroting the orange turd more trustworthy than PBS and the Wall Street Journal this time?

Yes, but the MSM in Germany was Goebbels. So it was.
Our MSM is closer to Goebbels than anything.

That was a different place and time, before liberal bias spread through the media and education system in the USA like aggressive cancer. Your comparison does not apply now in the least.

As far as climate change, there are other scientific methods to support the consensus. For instance,

You took one of the news sources I listed that points out problems in peer review as a diversion. Hover using all these sources for political judgement is very different than scientific judgement, and the consensus is the Trump administration is rightfully under investigation.
For by far the worse wrongdoings that I can remember.
