Once again to cj family so sorry to hear this, very very sad day, I along with so many other here were stunned the other day when the news of Dennis health issue was brought to light
I can tell everybody first hand on pace advantage over the last 3 years Dennis was a great person and hilarious, but as others have said all the times I met him up at Fred and margies or went out for ravens games never 10 minutes went by without Dennis mentioning Craig, heard stories of the Air Force, golf, bowling, tennis how you started with making pace figures, cut school or left early to go to pimlico or laurel😂😂, how you grew up with Larry collmus, the thunder season tix and the one I remember the most was when he told me how worried sick he was during that tornado outbreak in moore back in 2012 or 2013.........he couldn't be any more proud of you
Or the phone call or text telling me to put on tvg at 12 or 1230 when Craig was gonna be on.......
Like proximity said we had a little outing after black eye Susan day a few years ago never seen shayne so happy laughing and talking about the trips you guys had to the track together
to show you what kind of person Dennis was he was in the hospital in Jan 2014 it was a Saturday night he told me he was in so I went up to go see him, this was during the huge colt comeback against the chiefs.....I bet a big amount on the chiefs here, maybe it was 31-3, Dennis goes "whizz who you got" I said the got the winner tonight Dennis, hour goes by now it's like 31-28 Dennis might have said the funniest thing ever, as I'm reeling he says "whizz I may be coming to visit you if Indy goes in again"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Again very sorry to hear about your loss cj but just to let you know your success made him the happiest person on earth, we will all miss him here

Thanks Mike for posting these. From Oaklawn to Saratoga, times were always fun. There was never a dull moment.
So often, up to something, one of the best things Dennis would do?
He'd wait, until just the right time, when anyone within 50 feet could hear him, and always when Craig was 3ft from him....
"Craig, these are the Family Figures, that you've sent me, right? Not the public ones?" Then, he'd smile, "I like my connections, my private line."
(Craig, would shake his head with dread, trying to not even acknowledge his dad's comment. After a time or two of doing this in New York, Arkansas or somewhere, I hit the roof!!)
"Craig, what the hell is this? What is your dad talking about? "Family Figures"?
"DG, he's pulling everybody's leg. He's just firing you up! Hell no, I don't make two sets of figures. We all get the same full or condensed... I hate it when he does this to me."
This Milkowski bunch is a fine, fine family, gentlemen. This is just a small note on what it's like to be in their company. Never, ever, a dull moment. All, such caring people, and such fun to be with. ... One of the greatest times of all, though, will no doubt be the night of the "nutter" at Saratoga Harness. It will forever be a classic!!!
<3 <3 <3
Rest in eternal, heavenly peace, Dennis. We will miss you terribly.

Like everyone here, I'm heartbroken to hear of Dennis' passing. Had the pleasure of meeting him at Pimlico a few years ago...CJ will be happy to know that dad hit a nice 15-1 shot that day using his son's numbers.
Later had the pleasure of meeting JustRalph and OTM AL...also met WhiffleWhizz and Proximity.
I will forever regret not getting loose last year and meeting Dennis, WhiffleWhizz and a few others for some drinks
CJD was proud of his country and his sons, and loved his city fiercely.
I hope his family finds peace in this difficult time.
My prayers to all
-David

Great guys!!
The thread you linked, JR, was a great one to go back to. It was a really fun day at Belmont, even with the pouring rain!! Lots of good tickets cashed that day. You guys came up on the bus.
I'm glad Mike was able to save all of the old stuff from years ago. The only thing I've not seen since the upgrade, though, I only looked for it minutes ago, is the Gallery.
Mike, was the Gallery lost?

Thanks to everyone for all the thoughts and prayers. We're ok, we've been prepared for this for a while.

So Sorry to hear this. I had to do the same thing with my dad and make that choice to take off life support. For 3 hours the family held his hand as he left this world. Tears well up in my eyes to this day thinking about it.
