I forgot heading a horse in the derby means something, lol.
I have no idea why he didn’t include anyone else. However throwing up 5 mil isn’t crying about anything. Especially when the derby was stolen.
Here we are again many reply’s deep and so much great support as to why Country House was deserving winner is being presented.
But hey a horse headed his horse. Rules are rules except win video clearly show WOW running up the ass of the leader.
Derby was stolen we’ll see if any connections show up to take this challenge on.

The Derby wasn't stolen, no video clearly shows WoW initiating the contact, and the other connections would be best adviced to ignore the crazy man and his ravings.

Duh, they would be wise to ignore because they don’t have the better horse.
Thank you! Stolen derby.

They would be wise to ignore him because, based on his behavior here, when his horse loses again (as he almost certainly will somewhere down the line) Gary West is liable to do anything.

Charitable people can do stupid things.
Like this one.

Just to set the record straight ( although it doesn't have anything to do with horse racing ) , they donate around 135 million a year to senior citizen health care, and are leaving 100% of their wealth to charity when they pass away....

once again, the personal attack, trying to bring someone down to your level. Your freedom is not worth the blood that paid for it, look how you use it.

His trainer said that if he had not been DQed, he would have run today. Since the TC wasn't on line, why run.
So the scratches that appeared three days after the race will keep him out of the Belmont as well? or will we have to wait for more x-rays? WOW won today, if he runs in the belmont he will do something a horse gets to do once, run in all three legs of the TC . MS missed out on that.

Most horses are better off for not having run in all 3 legs of the TC. Most who do fall apart by the Travers, when the new hotness arrives.
If Maximum Security had run today and won, what then? You'd still be saying WOW was cheated, this time by drugs. You'd still be flinging monkey poo at the connections.
If a TC is not on the line, there is no reason to run in the Preakness, and abig reason not too--two weeks. Same with the Belmont, run him in the Met, not the anachronism. Or wait for the Haskell, where at least you know he is safe from being Smartied. 1 3/16 isn't 10f, and it sure as monkey poop ain't 12f.
I finally watched the race. If there is no veering, Maximum Security wins by even more, veering cost him too. WOW was never winning the TC, because he was never passing that horse.

If the position of the Wests is that Maximum Security is the real winner of the Derby and will win his court case, it was very stupid not to run in the Preakness. DUCY?

Those 'scratches' were a skin condition of the hoof/pastern area that can happen when running on an off track.
----------------------------------
Video taken outside Baffert's barn at Churchill Downs Sunday morning appeared to show the colt stepping gingerly with his left hind leg on the gravel walkway outside the shed row. Baffert told the Paulick Report Sunday afternoon the colt's movement was due to “scratches,” a type of skin irritation which Baffert said was present on the skin above Justify's left hind hoof, likely stemming in part from the sloppy track conditions on Saturday.
“He does not have scratches,” said Scollay Tuesday. “I can't speak to earlier [this week] but there was no evidence of skin disease today.”
