Just like the Me Too women's movement, there may be a time for everything. Increases in, and the horror of school shootings can now change things. Looks like these movements coupled with changing demographics can also change the political landscape.

So that is why Hillary used to protect Bill by attacking the women he victimized and then protected her campaign guy, but now claims to be in favor of woman coming forward.

Dems are too lazy to change it. There is a process that has been used in the past, They outlawed BOOZE, but the dems, with overwhelming public support, can't get this going.

Then why are we importing as many people as possible from uncivilized countries. Would we not want to restrict immigration to the civilized world? Unless of course your goal is to turn America into a third world dump.

Highly unlikely actually.
The movements are doomed the second they begin attacking gun owners and the NRA. While everyone is celebrating these kids, and make no mistake I disagree but sympathize with them, the money is flowing even more to the NRA as Constitutionalists dig in.
Comparisons to other countries are absurd as well because people don't think that those countries are safer (they aren't) nor do they have constitutional protection to self-defense.
No one cares that they are more likely to be killed by a gun in a country with more guns. That's obvious. The numbers, however, are not linear and our violent crime is fairly low despite our population and diversity.
