This website recently turned 21-years-old...how did this happen?

Wow. 21-years-old.

How have we survived while all the other horse racing forums either disappeared completely years ago, or remain but mere shells of their former selves in terms of daily activity?

Let's hear it from all of you. Why do you still come to PaceAdvantage.com?

Hell, I can click on "Today's posts (EXCLUDE OFF-TOPIC)" and see there are 41 active HORSE RACING threads with new posts in the last 24 hours.

That's pretty amazing considering where most horse racing forums are these days.

THANK YOU!

No thank you. I don't post a lot but I always come daily to read the forums.

It's pretty simple. The "characters" most knowledgeable about horse racing are on this board. This is where you come to fill the gaping holes or tiny gaps in your racing knowledge.

Has nothing to do with me...

The funny thing is...I have kept hearing...all though my 21 years running this place...how people have left or don't come here anymore because it's just so awful here...how I've either driven them away with my poor admin style...or off-topic is just too much for them...or blah blah blah

My question is...where did they all go?

Is there some super-secret members-only forum out there where all the refugees from PA are hanging out?

But I digress....

I was here years ago during the early years - away from the game for 15-16 years, and I know I was glad I stumbled upon it once again last year.

Thanks to you and (almost ) all the posters, and congratulations!

Feels so good to finally legally drink on here.

I come here, because there are some smart handicappers here.

I am an old man now.Been coming here a long time. Seems a lot longer than 20.

This is the place to find a lot of niches that will add to your capping knowledge and off topic will test your sanity at times. Both have been an interesting ride over the years. Thanks to all that contributed to this gem of a site.

Mike,

This has been HOME for so many of us over the years.

I wonder... How many are still here from the Prodigy days?

Is it 21 years since the first PA board ever?

I’ve been showing up from time to time because I feel I’m indebted to the PA forum for providing me with a wealth of not only horse racing information per se, but some of the invaluable experiences that many members have shared (both current and some who no longer post).
I met my mentor (ToteMaster) through the posts he made back around 2005. Although being very skeptical at the time about just following the money flow, I’ve certainly come to appreciate its value and impact to my personal profiting at this game. I have no problem occasionally sharing some useable tote information with others in the Selection forum. http://www.paceadvantage.com/forum/s...d.php?t=159982
