Since the injury tech is collapsing down low, msu has open shots to take. Going to be a fun finish either way.
Tech changed their offensive attack after the injury, has worked well short term. Concerned that it won't, for the duration.
He's back on the bench, not sure I'd play him if he's not 100%.

My son is a junior at Auburn, I am afraid he is on suicide watch right now, he's NOT happy!

Felt there were a few keys to the game
A. - Tech actually did have better athletes
B. - MSU/Izzo failed to establish their own offense. Opportunity to take the initiative in the first half, but they didn't seem to have a decisive strategy to address the swarming defense. Didn't make skip-passes, they didn't trust/have-reliable big men to receive the ball and execute a decision, and they didn't do enough drive and pass/get-fouled. -Lot of Pressure and spotlight in a tough job as a coach, but Izzo had a golden opportunity to do some X's and O's coaching and came up empty. Pressure or not, that's part of the job.
C. - Texas Tech finally found an offensive identity with Mooney? in the 2nd half.
--------------------
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME?
I have no idea... The more I watch these teams, I realize the less I know...
Coaches seem more like recruiters/program_managers than X's and O's guys
and Tech seems dominant on the surface.
It's possible that Virginia will exploit some of the passing things. As they say in boxing, "styles make the fight".
Line=Va -1 (a bit surprised at that line)

They've had an offensive identity, really. Moreti came up big earlier, sometimes a different guy stops up. They do play team ball.
I feel good for tech. They had some really good teams in the 60s when I was a kid and they were selling out the coliseum every single night. Their coach is a Texas ex, wish he were in Austin , but he's a great fit in Lubbock and is building a brand there.

Yea that was silly.
The hand should be considered "part of the ball", in those scenarios.
We can run a simple experiment and repeat the results, where if I hold my hands around the ball a certain way, and you knock it out of my hands from a certain angle, that frame-by-frame slow motion will show the last point of contact to be a finger-tip of mine.
Hand should be part of the ball there.
If we do the 'pinky' thing interpretation, than it amounts to a fundamental rule change, rather than an improved accuracy of the current rule.
If an offensive player re-engages the ball, whether he reaches for it, or inadvertently brush/tap it again, or if it hits part of his body, - yes, award the defense the ball.
