THE SIMPSONS marathon
Every episode ever...will take about 12 days...airing on FXX.
Only a few more days to go, but this has been a great journey for me.
Massive fan of the show, and really enjoyed some old funnies I had long since forgotten about....
Germans took over the Springfield nuclear power plant:
"In order to make our work environment more efficient and safe, we regret to announce the following layoffs. They are, in alphabetical order:
Simpson, Homer...that is all."

I've always wondered if anyone here recognized my handle

I'm right with you, PoT.. I've stayed up until the wee hrs the last few nites watching these great old episodes I haven't seen in years.. it's been one classic after another, you just can't beat the first 10 seasons.
It used to be that I'd catch these classics now and then in reruns, but a couple years ago they started running only newer eps in syndication, which can't hold a candle to the first decade..

one of my favorites is when they try to kick homer out of the all you can eat buffet cause he keeps eating and instead they make him an "attraction"
Come see the bottomless pit!

I have not seen every episode by a long shot but any time I tune in I am confident that within a few minutes I will get a laugh. My favorite is Homer talking to Bart,
"Remember always give in to peer pressure!"

To me, THAT episode was always the best. Multiple lines, including the one about :" We Germans are not always so nice", from the Sgt. Schultz type dude!
