Caught in the act is Sheila Jackson-Lee (D) apparently giving a note to Ford's lawyer at the hearing this morning:

Very troubling witness with bad memory from last month.
Hard to know what to believe from her.

"Also admits to flying frequently- but that's different because those trips were for vacation. Admits to not knowing who reportedly pushed her into the room where she states she was groped but throws Mark Judge's name in there just in case he "might" have, even though "I don't know I didn't see it." She can't tell the difference between a lie and the truth, a fantasy versus reality."

Given what is being posted here and on social media sites its pretty obvious this isn't playing out well for the Kavanaugh nomination.
Hopefully, Trump just pulls him today. Its very uncertain the votes are there and I'd hazard its unlikely.
You don't want to admit defeat here but its already arrived.
Its still possible to spin this into a W...

They've made her appear like an old church lady made of porcelain like she may crack at any moment, so fragile. And weak. In truth she is a professional
teacher and a outspoken tomboy.

The prosecutor asked Ford multiple times if anyone helped her with the letter. I wonder why?

I believe the trump card being held till later against her are the several witnesses including her best friend that claim nothing ever happened or had never heard of such an event. If this isn't the case, the defense is really dragging its feet and needs to get with it. Nothing I've seen thus far is helping Kavanaugh.

Yadda yadda yadda, its too late to pull out now. Do you believe it was Kavanaugh on top of her or was it M. Judge or, it never even happened like she is stating

It does have the feel of a court case. Very glad Senator Grassley chose a woman examiner.

Yes she said her mind was tired.
She has a Ph.D. In psychology, yet she said taking a polygraph was stressful. Good grief, no one will believe this. She's a political tool, nothing more.

If you listen, in response to Durbin's question, she said it was 100% her belief that Kavanaugh assaulted her. I haven't heard a direct factual accusation, only a recant about it being factually true Kavanaugh pushed her into the room. According to Ford she didn't want to place that burden solely on his, but it is okay to place the burden of a "believed" sexual assault on him..

What you and others simply cannot get is that it doesn't really matter anymore...
The initiative is all gone.
She was up there.
It was obviously painful for her.
Most importantly, she seemed geniune and authentic.
That is all that she really had to do.
The people that are voting to confirm Kavanaugh are up for re-election in 45 days. If they hold the Senate the gravy train of packing courts gets to go on for another 2 ****ing years. If they confirm him at this point I think that train comes to a startling halt in about 45 days.
I've been saying for about a week now the smartest thing to do is pull this guy and just throw someone up who is easier to confirm.
Sorry my analysis is proving to be the more sensible option... yet again...

There are no facts to back up her assertions. I see no reason to back off the nomination.
