It seems that the photos of armed black men were removed from the internet.

How about the doctors in that video that was removed from YouTube? That's one of the most recent famous examples of being SILENCED....

my wife came home crying today
she works in a nursing home
this home was doing well until this week
but this week they started dying from Covid - several
the hospital sent people there who looked healthy - they rapidly deteriorated
my wife is very religious - Catholic - she sees it as God giving a punishment
I don't see it that way
I want her to quit but I can't force her
I don't want her to be a hero
I was doing okay with all of this but now I'm not
this is just too, too much

that is what it is called......I, among others, often wrote prescriptions based upon their CHEMICALS and rarely the brand name.....A lot of us did it that way

BRAND NAMES of medications did not cross the border into Canada m(mostly different there), so I got in the habit of writing prescriptions chemically not by brand names

I don't understand the part about "they looked healthy".

Every new patient brought in should be tested with the RAPID test. This is why these tests were developed.

If this were TB or smallpox or any other highly contagious disease, precautions would be taken because these centers house our most vulnerable populations of human beings. Both new patients, as well as CNAs, would be tested on a regular basis of some sort.

Meanwhile, I hope your wife is well and will continue to be.

Basically, there's no denying that whatever the necessary extra precautions needed to care for our most VULNERABLE ------didn't happen.

You go ahead and make this about Trump and Cuomo. (it is also possible that they are both morons, which may have already occured ot some people. )

When we have medical interventions available.. (Some homes are using the Rapid 45 minute Covid tests to any new person coming in.... some have even been requiring multiple COVID-19 tests prior to admission, and the Rapid 45 for their CNAs. )

Once in a while though, an extraordinary person does show what it looks like when they do care. Valerie Martin for instance. I don't believe she is a Democrat or Republican though, since she doesn't live in the U.S.

The nursing homes here sure seem to put plenty of effort into getting their lobbying groups to start writing laws to protect THEMSELVES from lawsuits though. So I don't expect them to concentrate on their real problems, like infection control, i.e protecting their residents.
