Yikes. That's a bit harsh, don't you think? Apparently not. I'll stay out of your marketing thread.

I saw your post and clicked on it to replay (amongst other things).
When I finally hit "submit" I saw that you indeed had "added" to your post, in the meanwhile. So even you noticed you didn't help anything, and changed it.

Now you wanna come off like I'm some kind of asshole, because I responded to your original post.

Here is your post I responded to before you added to it:

There's nothing wrong with that, but the system has to be better than playing the favorite which gets what...37% wins and a .83-ish ROI?

I clicked the Submit button instead of the Preview button. I didn't take more than a few minutes to add the paragraph that I originally wanted to include. You had already posted your reply which under any circumstances was less than polite and rather insulting. But, whatevs.

You come off the way you come off. I have nothing to do with it.

Okay, got it. Be sure your ROI is higher than just betting the favorite. Good advice.

Anyway...I go out to Laughlin (near Vegas) every 4 months, for 5 days. The flight, hotel, everything is comped - that's the only reason I go. Sitting in a race book, blackjack table, or at a slot machine--gets old quick after a couple days
The place "Harrah's" is right on the Colorado River, as are about a dozen other hotels and casinos in Laughlin. I love fishing, and have a little briefcase-looking carrier with a telescoping pole, reel, line, spinners, flashers, and spoons.
I'm hoping I don't have any trouble with the TSA (there are some hooks and little bb weights in there)

If you like to fish--tell me you don't want to drop what you're doing and go fish this nice cove, in front of the hotel.

I just hope I don't snag any swimmers or boaters.

-Took this pic from the hotel -that's Arizona on the other side of the river

Thanks. We did a data base run on several tracks, checking the effectiveness of spot plays and Platinum Power. I expected poor results all the way around, for Woodbine. It's in a FOREIGN COUNTRY, for God's Sake.

Okay that was my little joke for the day. Was surprised to find the Power ratings, and some spot plays did very well at WOX.

I'll post those numbers as soon as I find them again.

PARX BEST-FIVE CONSENSUS 6-14

Missing that late pick-4 was a killer at Parx today. We ran 2nd in leg#1 (7th race)--then hit the final 3, including 10th race winner JAMES CIRO $71.80.

Anyone using STATS True Odds program? I just recently got a chance to check it out--it's pretty impressive. I found a free play on the site, with several pace and potential running positions shown. It's from todays upcoming Penn races (today's freebie is race 6)

I see the and the are 10-1 ML--with the program's "True Odds" given at 3-1 and 4-1.

Here are the positions each contender is expected to occupy during the race:

Looking at the 2nd chart--the may take them all the way.

Dont judge this by just one race, in any case. It looks interesting and might be something you care to give a tryout.

Good Luck,

-NCG

*btw...it can be seen at http://trueodds.stats.com/
