I'm thinking they have a smoking gun on her or both that we don't know about. Congress doesn't hand these out for nothing from what I've seen.

They will open an investigation into her testimony. Something that hasn't been previously investigated.

Personally I think Avenatti is a slimeball. I don't know what any of this matters. They are investigating her testimony. They have to prove she lied. In doing so that means they have to investigate her accusations... so like in the article you posted he's right.
I don't give a shit about any of this. I just find it funny after weeks of avoiding investigating Kavanaugh allegations pursuing this will start new investigations into them.
