Just a really interesting race. Eight Rings comes out of the Life is Good Breeders' Cup race (and ran credibly well). Can Midcourt regain his previous form, or has he already? Does Bal Harbour's Eastern form translate? What to make of Azul Coast's big Beyer in the allowance race, which he couldn't repeat in the Awesome Again?

Very interesting race to handicap. Will be fun to watch.

Midcourt already scratched out. (Although I guess they could unscratch him.)

The Beyer for that race was a 94.

That’s below the PAR for better ALW races. The gap between limited winner ALW races and Grade 3 has been shrinking over time, but that’s kind of slow.
