Facebook Inquiry

I'm getting reports from individuals that FB has been down for hours? Likely due to hackers? Is this true? Can anyone confirm this?

It says Safari can not open (Facebook) because the servers can’t be found. I think those are the things with all the flashing lights.
Hope that helps.

Thanks but not really. I think this is much more likely:

Facebook.com Is for Sale as Worldwide Outage, Whistleblower, and Massive User Data Breach Collide in Perfect Storm

Facebook is down, and not in a minor way. The Big Tech mammoth is down worldwide in a way in which they will not be able to easily recover as the DNS A and AAA records have been deleted. Technically speaking, facebook.com is now for sale.

https://thelibertydaily.com/facebook...perfect-storm/

Couldn't possibly happen to a more deserving organization.

Facebook is a very useful tool for its Marketplace and groups. I keep an eye on at least a dozen restaurants and businesses to see what daily specials and events they're running, and they're smart to be using FB as an advertisement tool.

I also belong to community and hobby groups.

It never occurs to me to go to FB for "news" or anything political.

That's what I'm thinking. They're getting rid of the evidence.
