Here is one of our sport's all time great races, the Mother Goose Stakes, won by Meadow Star, trained by LeRoy Jolley.

R.I.P. Genuine Risk was THE horse when I started playing the horses as a teenager in 1980.

I was at Belmont that day. That was one of my all time favorite races ever.

RIP LeRoy Jolley.

I was there as well. I remember it as one of the all-time idiot rides. Put Bailey on Lite Light instead and she buries Meadow Star. Cost me the biggest bet I had made in my life up to that point.

After a chewing out over his brain fart ride Nakatani goes after Meadow Star in the CCA and won by 100 lengths.

Ridan was a favorite of mine that I boasted about.

Boy, was I beat up on when he lost to Jaipur (which no one in my crowd could pronounce) in the Travers.
