Is this the same Cibelli (see link)? If so, I wonder how the Cibelli of 2009 would treat the Tampa Cibelli of 2013? It must be a different person.

So far there have not been any posts about what the vet has said or will say that might incriminate the trainer.
Besides those stats above show that 45% of her steeds are in the top 3.
I've seen a lot worse than those numbers.
If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck........well you know the rest.

Uncle Ray had another article on his site the last day or so. I've given him shit in the past over a few things, but at times I feel as though he may be the only real journalist in racing, and his coverage of this scumfest that would ordinarily be ignored in all likelihood is the quintessential example of why.

Great piece - mainly because it actually exists and hasn't simply been forgotten.

There arent too many people like Paulick out there....in fact, there's none that i can think of at the moment. We need REAL journalists who don't care whether or not they get their free doughnuts and coffee in the Press box at certain tracks taken away for writing the truth. Most of these guys are company men, hoping to be able to show up, blend in, eat free Krispy Kremes and let the game slide into oblivion.

And yeah, you know who you are.

Nice addition to the thread - as you note, Paulick is willing to publish investigative articles that we would likely never see elsewhere. I'm rather jaded via experience about the backside practices in this sport, which probably colors my view, but the vet's story sounded a lot more convincing to me than Cibelli's.

Tampa has barred Cibelli for the upcoming meeting, in addition to her 60-day suspension from the Fla state racing authorities.

Paulick has his reasons for suddenly being independent and I don't think they are altruistic in nature...............

Remember, it's a boys club............. you're either in or out.........just my observation from the outside..........

I'm assuming other tracks are going to honor this ban and not let her race at their place either?
