The MEADEOWLANDS Express was the van driven by Alexis.
He would yell into the megaphone;
MEADOWLANDS , MEADOWLANDS, MEADOWLANDS,
GET EVEN AT THE MEADOWLANDS!!!
Am I the only one who did Charles town matinee to penn national eve?

I've done the thoroughbred/harness double once. Hoosier Park for the Indiana Derby card and then headed to Indiana Downs for the night harness racing card.

I've got a nice list myself. But I'll start with my favorite jaunt - Preakness weekend mostly in the '80's:
Thursday night - Garden State
Friday - Pimlico
Friday night - either Charlestown or Rosecroft
Saturday - Pimlico
Saturday night - either Brandywine or Garden State
Sunday - Belmont
Monday - Philadelphia Park
Other doubles I remember:
Saratoga/ Saratoga Harness
Aqueduct/Yonkers
Gulfstream/Hollywood dogs
Victoryland dogs (Montgomery) /Birmingham flats (1987)
Belmont/Meadowlands
Philadelphia Park/Dover

Back in my college days in the 70's we did Waterford Park (now Mountaineer) and then down to Wheeling Downs where they ran harness racing. Of course Thistledown to Northfield all the time. Saratoga T to Saratoga H doesn't really count but I did that last summer.

Detroit Race Course to Hazel Park, and vice versa.
I did it many times back in the day.
We'd leave DRC (thoroughbreds) after the last race, sprint to the car, then race across town to make the first race at Hazel (harness).

Sheesh, among fellow degenerates here. Countless combinations if throwing OTBs or "dark" simulcasting sites in, but if we're talking "live racing" to "live racing" doubles, then:
laurel ----> rosecroft
laurel -----> charlestown
aqueduct ----> meadowlands
delaware park ----> meadowlands
sportsmen ---> hawthorne
sportsmen ---> balmoral
arlington ---> hawthorne
arlington ---> maywood
balmoral ---> maywood
hawthorne ---> quad city downs (just once)
birmingham horses ---> greenetrack dogs (just once)
birmingham horses ---> victoryland dogs
hialeah horses ---> bonita springs dogs (just once)
gulfstream park ---> bonita springs dogs
turf paradise ---> phoenix dogs
turf paradise ---> yuma dogs
duquoin state fair ---> fairmount
ellis park ---> fairmount
churchill ---> red mile
churchill ---> louisville downs
keeneland ---> red mile
beaulah ---> turfway
keeneland or churchill ---> river downs
turfway ----> bluegrass (just once)
canterbury ---> st. croix dogs
waterloo/cedar rapids dogs ---> quad city downs
I'm sure I missed one or two combos.....
