How can someone ever let this man have a license???
He stops riding 90 yards from the wire in a stretch drive for THE WIN!
Not 2nd or 3rd but for the WIN!!!
I wonder, what would they do to him in Hong Kong, if he did what he just did at SA, there.

It's incredible. this stuff is a black eye for the sport and the 'game' does nothing about it. No increases in fines or suspensions, a little wrist slap and he keeps doing it, conduct detrimental to racing and yet nobody cares.

In what had to be the certainty of the year, Kent of course wins the feature today (by himself).

Is there are rule in CA that limits the number of times a pinhead can whip a horse?

And I'm sure the person who collected the $300,000 was really angry at the other steward in the room who voted "stay".

Prop bet (mythical)
Will Kent desormeaux ease at least one horse today at SA?
Yes -900
No + 600
Step right up place your bets!
8 races must be completed for action

I'm pretty sure many horseplayers have had it with this guy, maybe time for a protest since tracks seem to not care that he's manipulating races with refusal to ride horses thru the finish line,I say a 1 year suspension for starters, let's see if 1 year can make him rethink this. I've had enough as I'm sure most of you have too.
Why do these tracks not punish someone who is manipulating the outcomes of races on a near daily basis, it's almost a miracle if I see this guy ride one thru the wire.
Does anybody care?

This is kind out of the blue. Was there a ride we're missing?
Btw... I'm not saying your wrong but he's picked up a bunch of new barns in the last couple months (Cerin, Peter Miller, Doug O'Neil) so this opinion you have of him doesn't seem to be shared with those guys.
He's also 20% on the year and his 2016 was his best year since 2009.
Everyone seems high on Kent these days.

Shared or not shared, all I'm talking about is refusal to ride to the wire on many occasions, you don't need a "missing ride" as this guy eases up at least 1 mount a day on average, at least 30 a month where he's not down in the saddle at the wire, that's all I'm talking about. Trainers like him because as a trainer you don't mind him 'taking care" of your horse when he's beat.
