You are 100% right, Dan Loiselle at Woodbine is a racing institution, also a very accurate caller.
I can't get over how all these posts try to criticize a job and a talent that takes years to learn.
As far as I am concerned, I really never heard a bad race call from the regular caller for any track.

Anyone know who is calling tonight? I remembered this thread when I heard the voice that sure as heck isn't Jeff Cernik. Sounds like an intern but I've only heard the first race call.

I see they didnt make a change in the booth for this current meet...they must have 'reviewed' this guy's performance and kept him on board.
I also see Jamie Ness is winning races there at 3-5..... 
Great track, great announcer, supertrainers, what more does a bettor want!?

I sat with Jaime the whole day last Saturday..he hit the pick 5 paid 8 grand...helluva nice guy..
Good capper too..but at the end of the day hes playing the game..
