Please do, we want to keep ontop of this thing...IMO, you will win out in the end...Mende hasn't a leg to stand on...and I wonder if he may be open to some sort of charges...like lieing through his teeth...which I'd like to knock right outta his mouth!!
Keep up the good fight, everything comes out in the wash...and partymanners will come out of this ridiculous travesty standing in the winner's circle.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
I have been looking at the Paulick Report, but other than links to blogs about this mess, he hasn't offered up anything...I am very surprised about that...his 'endorsment' against Mende would help, I think.

I would like to be as optimistic as everyone here, but in the end I think that YouTube is going to see that neither party owns the rights to the videos.....

And therefore, they should be allowed back up since whoever truly does own the rights hasn't complained. And those who do, probably won't, knowing the backlash that comes with it and how much having these videos out there helps racing.

If youtube decided to get really strick about copyright, I think at least half the videos on there would be gone...which is something, no doubt, they don't want to see happen.
Everyone records everything these days...hell, nothing is sacred...the world is an open book...
then one person screws it up for everyone...I wonder how Mende sleeps at night.

YouTube responded today saying if he does not take further action in 10 to 14 days the videos will be restored...
It's going to be a long 2 weeks to wait..
Let's hope it ends on a good note.

That's good news. I want to thank you also for making all the videos available for no other reason than your love of racing. I remember you from the DRF site and your posts there and here never struck me as one who's ego is out of control. Hope all is well. I might suggest to all that the bashing of the offender at this point may be counter productive. It may be a long 2 weeks but if we don't bruise his ego more he may not challenge anything.

It's unbelievable that Youtube would erase a library of races so painstakingly compiled for so many to enjoy on the word of one grievance. Something isn't right here, hopefully justice will win on this one.
