Or his real address so we could visit him and let him know personally how we feel - the rat bastard.
Is there an alternative to You Tube? I'd be willing to kick in to help restore it on a better site - YT seems to have suddenly gone on my blocked sites list. I don't care to visit them anymore - they have shown their true colors.
Maybe we should all contact YT and let them know we do not support their lame-ass cowardice. Taking the word of little weasels like Mende without any proof is crap.

This just highlights the ineptitude of racing.
Youtube is top 5 visited internet site. Billions of visits. Premium, invaluable web property. They host your content for free. They stream it for free. As copyright owner, the allow you to claim your content and collect advertising revenues on those page visits. Racing is dying for lack of attention, and viewing racing videos is fundamental to the fan experience.
Yet what effort does racing make to do something that would provide a risk free profit and make the fans happy? Zero. Idiots.
The racing experience for millions of fans should not rely on Kiris expending massive time outlay, or on the feelings and moodswings of some Jeff Mende. Yet by way of this industries utter incompetence, that is what it is left to.

That is as sad is it gets. Just a not-so-wild guess: the guy actually posts in the third person using an alias. What a scumbag.

To be fair, more and more racetracks have been posting videos on Youtube. I'd love to see them post all archives, or at least all Stake archives as well. Maybe they will in time.

It seems like a natural fit for a racing program like At The Races with Steve Byk. Perhaps if he contacted he can work with that website to add the videos to the archives there.
I am sure he has the right contacts to get approval.

I've given them some props for being relatively better for that before, I'm not feeling very generous tonight tho. Old races are vitally important for fans.

I would strongly recommend trying to recoup your efforts -- and request Youtube export your data in a way that you can retrieve it. Youtube has liability when it comes to hosting material, but I'd think with some effort at persuasion you could get them to return your property, i.e. your edited digital files -- I assume they've had that request before and if you can get in touch with the right person they probably have some method by which you could get it back.
At the very least then you'd have them for your personal enjoyment, and if you chose to do something with them in the future.

What I don't get is that he apparently contributed these videos voluntarily, so how can they be unauthorized by him..sure they might be unauthorized by the racetracks, but they didn't complain it seems.

Would this not prove that Partymanners had permission to use the videos " Jeff Mende... if you get a chance to set down with him and watch a race live, or one of the videos he's contributed to Mr. Conti for the U-tube archive." So how can you infringe with permission? Guy don't let this weenie pull this.. PLEASE AT THE VERY LEAST COUNTER CLAIM THIS WEASEL...at this point you can only win.
