Woodbine race 3

Artie's Storm is interesting. Last time vs weaker on synth. Hopped at the start. Long drive into 2nd vs a merry-go-round flow and a leader who got loose.

Break will again be important today. Without a ton of pace on hand, he'll have to break and try to relax forward near the front. Then will need a well timed drive to forge ahead.
Bettable trip last, but asked for new tasks today.
First time route, First Time Turf.
That's quite a bit of pressure to place on Moran's shoulders, who is a solid jock IMO but not an 'Ace'.

3rd choice in doubles and taking some early money.

Doesn't look like a value will be materializing today.

I want to see how he does. Ideally I see something that I want to bet more heavily next time.

sometimes they do better than you had hoped.

Mcknight's blew open the pace having shown move vigor since moving back from Kentucky to the home operation. Error on my part, as I'm aware of how good a trainer he is, and should have expected improvement in both performance and pace.

This caused the Wave Baby, who was possibly the best in the race to have to work hard.


The two good closers Meyer and Artie were able to capitalize and flow past in the stretch.


So I have to 'delete' Artie from my list and I made a lousy $0.65 for about 5min of work.
