also, i've never seen a place give frequent player points out and then say they expire. How on god's green earth is someone gonna accumulate 2M+ points to get that scooter you're offering before their points expire (unless they play some awful track like finger lakes where points are probably double).
and last.... youbet offers ZERO..... thats right ZERO frequent player points for the major tracks, so say you push 2K into the 'toga del mar pool.... it amounts to nothing in reward points

Unless prohibited by some reason, anyone aiming for 2+ million points with YouBet should be doing meaningful rebates somewhere else.
I do have sympathy for your plight, and I agree that rewards points should not expire, with the exception of a long period of inactivity, say something like one year.
As to video, have you ever considered the Race Track Network now available thru Dish Network? A small monthly handle at a decent rebate establishment would cover the cost, and then some.

A lot of things are to be considered when picking an ADW. A lot state laws really limit your options. But I agree if you sending alot money through the windows, you need to look long and hard where you can get the best rebates even if you have to move. Then there is also the ability to bet NYRA. That is no small thing if you are betting lots of cash. Their pool size is a big factor.

After suffering with Youbet and Xpressbet account support issues five to eight years ago, I was a happy camper at Winticket which then got absorbed by Twinspires. The smaller services don't seem to have the track selection I want, though I'd open any LEGAL account in a second that carried Hong Kong, even if that was the ONLY track they had.
As an Illinois resident though, I've been boned by the recent enforcement of the track percent fee for the ADWs, so I'm stiffed on betting Saratoga and Del Mar. Personally (and this is just my opinion), I feel that Twinspires is in cahoots with Arlington to steer betting to AP, the OTBs in the state, and to gain leverage for getting slots when they can show the decrease in handle. The reason for this is simple - going to an Illinois OTB, I can link my AP rewards/betting account (which I don't have) directly to my Twinspires account. The rats. Plus I don't like being a victim of extortion - Illinois racing by and large sucks, and so I say screw the Illinois horsemen.
So, in support of my total and complete (now lifetime) boycott of Illinois tracks and OTBs, I've recently opened a TVG account, and we'll see how that goes. I'm not looking forward to the pain, though I easily exceed their dumbass $2500 monthly betting requirement to avoid fees.
Dang, I wished I lived in England when it comes to playing the ponies (and football.... )

Myself. I really like PTC. It can be a bit of a mickey mouse operation sometimes. But for the most part the service has been great. No video feed, but I got that anyway.
