More Taj Mahal - Clara St. Kitts Woman
In the true Taj style...slow, sultry, bluesy
Kind of an odd song from his World Music LP, but I love it.

Cajun Waltz - done in many versions by many folks. Here's my favorite, by Taj Mahal of course.
A fantastic move for a Saturday morning...the song slowly wakes up, as we all should on a weekend morning.

Shake 'Em On Down - North Mississippi All Stars
Classic blues song written around 1937 and covered by everyone.
NMAS are a great outfit to see live. I last caught them in Memphis on Labor Day weekend 2015.
This one was in Philly in 2009. Imagine being in that small venue and hearing this.
If you have a chance to see these boys DO NOT miss it.
Enjoy

RL Burnside's version of Shake Em On Down
Sounds like a totally different song from the NMA version...probably because no one can understand a word RL was saying
This was recorded in Norway; his normal guitarist Kenny Brown is not there, but this guy more than holds his own...in that Burnside style. Grandson Cedric Burnside on drums.
