I would like to attend as well. I'm not sure if you buy tickets as a group or individually, but I have my owners license to get in so I won't need a ticket if you buy as a group.

I will be in Chicago in July 7-10, but my daughter is getting married that Saturday, so that Saturday is out for me.

Will they even have a meet? From what I've heard, its not a lock.

Unhappy I'm In

I will attend --be nice to see you guys....I am currently in a struggle with Washington as we are about to lose half of our pension due to Wall Street blowing our pension with bad investments--Congress destroying the ERISA law--which protected working class--and who knows what shenanigans are going on with our Central States Pension Fund..All this went on with Gov't oversight since 1982. They lost 40 billion of our money. So barring and events in that department I will attend..might be my last time if they take my money away.

I wish Arlington would try a turf-heavy meet ala the old Colonial. I can't stand the polytrack, and the racing is really bad. The purses were always bad at Colonial, yet the fields were full (yes, LRL/PIM were closed, but those horsemen had other options). CNL ultimately folded, but it might work for ARL. Maybe the ARL turf surface can't take the wear and tear of heavy use?

In recent years, as the local quality has disintegrated, I thought they had increased the number of grass races. In the past, they would baby the course in the month or so before Million day. But they run a lot more turf sprints than they used to.

They used to have a outer course and inner course, but now just use one course and move the rail quite a bit.

Strongly leaning towards Sat, July 23d (there is a stakes race at AP and that weekend is opening weekend at SAR for simulcast players).

Please give me a sense of attendance for this date...thx!!
