Question for Oracle

There's a saying in racing. "You missed the wedding. Dont stay around for the funeral."

Have you found that once you identify a hot streak it's probably over or almost over?

Hey Andi,

Yes, I completely get what you're saying and when the trend is almost over I am just hoping to get some type of profit before it stops or ride out the last bit of the wave before it goes flat.

What I'm also trying to do, is see if there is anything that can give a positive return over the course of a season and be able to have the discipline to stick with those findings.

After searching for years, I have not been able to find anything that provides the level of detail that I am looking for, so I have to create ways to get that detail in order to uncover the trends that I want to investigate.

By finding ways to gather the data for myself, I am not beholden to some company or institution for the information and so for now I share that information as best I can with those in this forum.

I get it, trends don't last forever, but I want to at the very least be on the side of the table that spots that trend no matter how long it lasts.

I can see the benefit of this. You certainly want to be careful of betting against a hot trend.
