LA trying to change the impound policy for undocumented drivers.
Tough to argue with the parent of a dead child.
Oh, AND the fact that an undocumented driver is 5 times as likely to cause a life threatening accident.

It just got worse. Chief Charlie Beck and the four members of the LA Police Commision that voted yes should be fired. Another reward for the illegals, nothing for the citizens that are killed, maimed, or have their propery destroyed.

the Next time someone is killed in LA by an Illegal who should have had their car impounded- the city of LA is going to get their asses sued off for not enforcing State law. The lawyers are circling.

The city doesn't care. LA is occupied territory and the mayor is the head occupier.

From a story in today's Huntsville Times (Sorry, but I'm looking at the hard-copy story, and don't have a link to it.):
"COURT DELAYS ACTION
"Federal appeals will wait on ruling concerning Arizona immigration law before deciding fate of Alabama law
"Supporters have touted Alabama's immigration law for urging those here illegally to 'self-deport', but a federal appeals court on Thursday questioned if the law amounts to 'forced expulsion.'"
SO WHAT IF IT DOES? We're talking people who are here ILLEGALLY. With the memory still fresh in my mind (after 25 years) of all the time and effort that my wife and I had to expend, and all the bureaucratic hoops that we had to (and did) jump through, to first get her legally admitted to the U.S. when she was still a Philippine citizen, and then to get her naturalized after that, I have no use or patience for arguments like this.
And the real kicker is that the U.S. Justice Department is arguing to get the Alabama law overturned on the grounds that it usurps Federal authority. If the Federal government had gotten off its ass long ago and actually done something about the issue, measures like the Alabama law would not have been needed.

Yeah, like the republicans will do any better at getting rid of illegals. Obama is sending more back than GWB, which isn't say much(120% 0f 10 is 12). The last president to really do anything with illegals immigrants was Reagan. He made them citizens! After watching the GOP hopefuls fall all over themselves in Forida trying to the Hispanic vote, why I should I believe any of them would be any better than Obama on illegal immigration.

You tell only half the story about Reagan and the deal that Ted the Head Kennedy reneged on. Just as it always comes out, never trust the word of a democrat - they lie.

Reagan was no fool, he knew exactly what was getting into. On his worst day, he wasn't dumb enough to be fooled by somebody like Ted Kennedy.

Ah yes, Tony V, the man that really wanted to be an actor but now wants to be the next governor, the man that never met an illegal alien that he did not like, just as long as it was from a Latino country. In case any missed it, Villaraigosa was selected to be the chairman of the Democratic convention. Now the rest of the country, including you eastern guys that are unfamiliar with this incompetant buffoon, will get a chance to see him putting on his airs.
