As a democrat, I love Trump. Every time he opens his mouth, he convinces more people to vote democratic. Getting 15%(Trump supporters) of 40%( republicans) of the electorate is not going to win any elections.

I agree with your point, but it won't matter in the general if Jeb or Rubio are the nominee. Tough to paint them as anti-Hispanic. I'm sure you'll try.

Jeb would be a tough sell, Rubio could be painted as anti-Mexican though. What the GOP has a tough time understanding is that putting up a Cuban candidate is going get them votes with other Hispanics. Plus issues do matter. The GOP is on a different side of many issues than most Mexican-Americans, especially spending on public education which I have been told is a big issue with 2nd or 3rd generation Mexican Americans.

You're right - the GOP is on the side of giving every kid, even poor kids, a decent education. One of the most disgraceful aspects of your party is putting the NEA ahead of poor kids. Dems should be proud. And you're wrong on Rubio.

Trump is getting large crowds and having to find bigger venues wherever he goes these days, very similar to Obama the last election.

right now Trump is sitting second in some imaginary poll. he looks like he is stunning the other republican candidates. he might win this nomination on his very own merits. it could be interesting to see if he does get to the final's how the Clinton's will handle him.

just like in horsracing, you try to stay away from the horse that was a beaten favorite, that is what Hilary looks like to me.

the other thing that is amazing is that "thegreek.com" still has this election off the board.

i would highly recommend a wager on the republican's at even money or better now before the price moves against you.

from the bottom of my heart, i only hope that if Trump gets elected that he can perform what he is promising.

He can not perform that task without Europe hitting the wall and imploding, that is a eventuality anyway. What is strange is the Clinton's and Trump's have had dinner together because Trump expressed an interest in meeting Hillary to Bill. The dynamics in this race for the Presidency may be unlike anything any of us have seen before.

Trump has said "NO!" to that idea. It would guarantee a Democrat victory.
Besides, if he can't get the GOP vote, who's votes would he get?

I recall in the movie 50-1, Calvin Borel accepting an assignment shaking hands and saying that "you can not win it if your not in it" prior to winning the Kentucky Derby. On the television just two days ago I herd Donald trump say "he was in it to win it". Now that is much more than you can say about Mike Huckabee right?

He could just buy the party. I am sure it is for sale.

Too late!

The GOP is already bought, paid for, and controlled by the doner class. Who dat, you ask?

Yes, the doner class -- the immoral, corrupt, vulgar CEOs of Corporate America, the Fortune 1000, and the Chamber of Commerce.

We know them as the Axis of Evil.

I think it is a truer statement that some can be bought much easier.
