When I worked in public TV in NYC the main cameraman was an ultra-conservative republican voter and he was ex-Navy, Bobby Long. Great guy may he rest in peace. He freelanced for all the major networks. So you would advocate shooting him because he took a freelance gig to capture footage for CNN?
I don't understand your logic. Care to explain? I hope you'll reply because I really would like to understand why a cameraman should be shot. Bobby Long, as I said was a republican. He supported his elderly mother, his ex-wife, his girlfriend, his younger brother with Down Syndrome as a freelance cameraman, but you're saying he should be shot because he was working for CNN. I'm having a hard time understanding your point of view. Please help me out here.

It's better to riot and loot than to attack the police. No one dies from stealing a TV -- unless of course trump sends in the national guard to kill people for stealing.
The national guard killing more people in the community is not going to solve the problem. In fact, it will make things worse and then there could be deaths on both sides.
The leadership at the local, state, and federal level should have gotten out in front of this. This was clearly a failure of leadership at every level.

I disagree - you SHOOT looters and fire starters.
Period.
Right now, arresting and trying the 4 cops takes a back seat to the immediate threat to the city - the rioters and looters.
They cannot be allowed to continue -whatever it takes to stop them
Whatever it takes.......
They have sent a loud and clear message - they 4 cops are not the worst threats walking around the city.

They have failed to protect their streets and their citizens.
High time the Feds did step in.
We cannot allow rioting and arson to run rampant.
The city has FAILED completely.
City should be placed under martial law by the Fed and the problem taken care of.

That makes sense. I guess I wasn't expecting humor from this tragedy.

With that logic then someone would have been justified in killing the cop that killed George Floyd because certainly killing someone is worse than looting.

A guy getting killed for passing a fake $20 bill is a tragedy. The rest of it does not qualify as anything close to a tragedy. Criminal actually. From the govt response to the public response.

Guess who worked together at the same restaurant as bouncers , victim George Floyd for 1 year and officer Chauvin 17 years.
They knew each other quite well one would assume and maybe had a beef.
Great investigative journalist out there. Conga Latin Bistro across the street from the crime scene.

Ha Ha ha . . . Liberal city-dwellers, especially in Dem-controlled states, best be prepared for this next level of "Blue Flu" on steroids . . . don't be surprised if during the long hot summer, they're not just gonna call in sick, they'll just abdicate and evacuate en masse. The message to the city government and citizens: “There you go, no police brutality, nothing to complain about now.” With the "Us vs. Police" mentality pounded incessantly by the media, you can expect a siege mentality to take hold among the police and they will regard all civilians as potential problems and just mark time to do their 20 years (or file an on-the-job injury disability claim) and collect that sweet big-city municipal pension

The officer has been arrested. 18 prior investigations on Chauvin including violence.

"Obama says death of George Floyd at police hands ‘shouldn’t be normal in 2020 America’"
The above is a troubling comment from our former POTUS...discuss amongst yourselves...
