How many people on here have hit the super 5
And how much do you usually spend on trying to hit it.

Is this wager only available on-site? It isn't available on Youbet yet, and as I haven't been down to SA this year, I haven't dabbled.

I'm always a sucker for a carryover, so it looks like I'll have to try the Hi5 on Wednesday. I've played it only once when I thought the 2 chalks would run 1st and 2nd, which they did, yet missed one of the others in the sequence. I've been making "play money" tickets with little success, but seem to have some decent strategies that might eventually pan out. My play ticket for 2-18 was something like this:
7,9/7,9,13/1,7/1,6,7/all/
Not good as only the 1 and 9 (excluding the ALL) hit the board and in the wrong order. Shifting the ALL to the 3rd or 4th slot would seem to work better, as impossible picks are coming in those slots lately.

Quite a payoff for a logical combination! About 300 winning tickets. Got back my "Pick 6" money from chasing the last week.

It is real hard to hit this bet in Las Vegas.
They do not offer the bet to Nevada Players.
The problem is that the Nevada para mutual assoc. refuses to upgrade the software so that we may play this bet.

The "Pick-5" is a one-race bet (the last race of the day), like the superfecta, plus one horse. I think they call it the "Super-High Five". Unlike the super, there is a carryover if no one hits.

Thanks---the payoffs make more sense now.
