B, Fast fwd to now. Sinema drops out because Lake is taking the conservative action in the polls , robbing Sinema of any chance to win since she switched from D to I
Big money on the conservative side wanted Sinema to win this seat. Read into anything else here you want (big money donors working against Trump candidates etc) but they were definitely looking to cut Lake's chances
