Fresu suspended 32 days for multiple whipping violations

Jockey Antonio Fresu, second in the Del Mar standings through Sunday, was sanctioned for a third violation of excessive use of the whip in the last week on Monday and has been suspended 32 calendar days from Saturday through Oct. 9.

Seems like they have the weakest jockey colony at DMR that I've seen in years there. Everytime they have a big horse in a big race, they have to call on a jockey from the easy coast. Like Prat or Johnny V. Also havent seen any of these unknown jockeys getting any Kentucky Derby mounts. I know they have a few old timers that did years ago.

Out here in California is a fine place to start a career as a jockey or to fade into a late career retirement.
