For whatever reason I can never get full reception with this iPad. It operates on two dots out of five all the time. My work issued iPad is showing 3 dots right now. Both with Verizon.

This reception issue may be why my iPad "cuts out" a lot when I'm reading an article. So I have to save it and come back to it. Anyway, i will get to the bottom of the BRIS download issue before deciding whether to buy something new. Thanks again.

I am looking for something to use for PPs, but nothing else.
PDF files, nothing more.
Don't even plant o be on line with it any more than necessary.
Could get by without ever going online.
Just want to look at PPS, maybe read some PDF eBooks that I load. No internet needed nor wanted.
CHEAP is the only requirement.

Me thinks two things on your last sentence, cumbersome and poor display must be taken into consideration. The my files icon functions better on some, and displays are like night and day.

How you gonna get the files/pp's on it?

Screen size is important too.......or you will be constantly resizing your pp's

If I have to use the internet, not interested in it.

For connection issues try resetting network.( you will lose all saved passwords)
