The global economy has shown business and government just how much less complicated the rest of the workd is. Americans are high maintenacne. We demand pay, benefits, vacations, rights, roads, freeodm! How inconvenient!
When my former company closed my plant down a year ago, they moved to Canada and Mexico. MY replacement at the Mexican plant got a salary a third of mine. The workers got next to nothing for pay and a hot lunch.
Tough to compete with that.
Nothing would make American businesses happier than the dissolution of America. It is just not cost effective.

Maybe U.S. racing can be outsourced?
Everything is simulcasting anyway.
Fewer and fewer people are going to the racetrack.
We can just bet on foreign races.
Eventually, when the good paying jobs go overseas and new businesses form overseas the newly rich individuals and companies will see their labor costs start to rise.
They will then find that it is cheaper to buy land and hire labor in the U.S. and will start investing here. This will cut their distribution costs.
They can start lobbying our politicians to get laws that are favorable for their businesses -- like tax incentives and various exemptions that an established U.S. based business can't get.
We will all be working for some foreign entity doing the same jobs that we used to do for our U.S. owned company.

Oh no - there are jobs we will not do.
Bush told me so.

Which ones?
If I had to, I could do just about any job.
However, there is one job I wouldn't want, but I know I could do it a lot better than him.

This recieved tons of grief from the media.
So we're welcoming in Iraqi refugees and kicking out Mexican workers? We're hurting our economy right there. We're lessening work and adding expense.
Oh, and I don't read or watch Fox News. Sorry.

Maybe you should start - you might get some facts instead the drivel you are believing now.
Do you have math issues, too?
You don't see a difference bettween 7,000 KNOWN Iraqi, LEGAL immigrants and over 20 million illegal aliens?

Hey, if they want jobs, they should go to China and Taiwan. There aren't any jobs here.

Fox isn't news, it's propaganda. O'Reiley, for starters.
The Malmedy fiasco:
O'Reily was attempting to justify the Abu-Grahib torture, and he talked of some American Soliders killing 50 defenseless Germans outside of the town of Malmedy. In fact, the exact opposite had happened. 50 defenselless AMERICAN soliders had been gunned down by the Germans. He acknowledged his mistake, and all was forgotten.
2 Weeks later, he made the exact same mistake, telling of 50 Germans killed by Americans in Malmedy. After being informed of his mistake, O'Reily said "I meant Normandy." In fact, the Fox News website changed the transcript of his newscast from Malmedy to Normandy.
This seems a little fishy to me. Scratch that, it sounds a LOT fishy. I will not watch Fox News for the above reasons and more.
MSNBC has a station, too, and they target news, not ratings.

Hey, Genius.
Here's a news flash for you....O'Reilly is a talk show, not a news show.
No wonder you are so confused.

Unlike the "idiot" liberal posters that reside here.

But he's still wrong. Very wrong.
And no, 46, I don't get too worked up about it. I live in a rather shallow neigbhorhood in the middle of nowhere in Ohio. I'm used to it.
