I heard somewhere that Sleepy Joe BiteMe wants to form a "truth" commission. (I kid you not.) The idea behind such a commission is there can't be reconciliation between the left and conservatives because the two can't agree on what is fact/truth; therefore, a commission must be set up to be the arbiter of truth -- to decide what is truth and what isn't. I guess the next step after this commission are the establishment of reeducation camps -- for conservatives, naturally. Who else but the "expert class" would be qualified for the daunting task of "reeducation", i.e. brainwashing?

UK lockdown may last until late spring and we may need to wear masks 'forever'

BRITS may have to wear face masks FOREVER as coronavirus will “always be with us,” warns England’s deputy chief medical officer.

A few whacko leftists below on masks. The Mayo Clinic, the Cleveland Clinic, and Johns Hopkins.

Mayo Clinic: Mayo Clinic research confirms critical role of masks in preventing COVID-19 infection

https://newsnetwork.mayoclinic.org/d...-19-infection/

Cleveland Clinic:

"A face mask provides protection to those around you, as well as yourself. Face masks act as barriers for respiratory droplets. Whether you’re coughing and the droplets catch in the inside of your own mask, or if you’re near to someone else coughing and their droplets hit the outside of your mask – it protects both people."

https://health.clevelandclinic.org/d...ign=ccch+posts

Johns Hopkins:

"Beyrer, an epidemiologist and professor of public health and human rights at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, hopes that recent research he conducted with scientists at the University of California, San Francisco, will help change this dynamic. He and his colleagues studied existing data and concluded that wearing a mask not only protects other people—as health officials initially framed it—but also the person who wears it. "That is a very important message," Beyrer says."

It's equal to covering your mouth when you cough. That's it.

If the masks worked we wouldn't be in this mess. Out here in California we have people wearing masks while riding their bike alone, driving in their car alone and while standing outside to enter retail stores and social distancing, it hasn't done jack shit to help.
