Tonight's Remmy Best-Five Consensus

.

Just a quick glance shows RISE UP 12-1, in the 6th has a decent chance at a price. The other longshots don't really have the numbers to warrant a bet (not that they don't have a shot--they wouldn't be on this list otherwise)

Good Luck,

I previously posted some plays from a method I was working on...results weren't very good. Since then I've noticed it seems to work best on lower level tracks--and also it might be better with maidens.
I don't have nearly enough testing to know anything--figured I would post Saturday's 3 test tracks. If I'm on to anything...should be some winners here. I didn't bother with any with a ML less than 5/2.

MVR

3RD- DYNA'S HOLIDAY 5/2
4TH- LITTLE MATILDA 4-1
5TH- COLLETA 7/2
6TH- SMOKE MONSTER 3-1
7TH- DRILLIT 5-1
8TH- LOOSE IN PARADISE 3-1

DELTA

2ND- FREE INDEED 5/2
3RD- SPREAD THE FAITH 6-1
4TH- HUNKER DOWN 3-1
5TH- DISTINCT QUALITY 7/2
6TH- YANKEES FANNY 6-1
7TH- KID SLIPPER 5/2
8TH- LATE NITE MISCHIEF 7/2
9TH- EBRIO 10-1
10TH-LODI MIST 4-1

GGF

1ST- BILLTOWN BANNER 3-1
2ND- ROWDY ROOSTER 8-1
3RD- STRETCH RUN 8-1
4TH- ZERO BUCKS GIVEN 5-1
6TH- TIGERBEACH 4-1
7TH- BAJA SUR 5-2
8TH- HARDY CHISEL 4-1

greg saw the same thing you saw in that "rise up", horse that went off at 39-1.
now if i can avoid my "ACTION" bets maybe i will get a handle on this game.

I know exactly what you mean, Guy. I actually thought I could be one of the tiny percent of horseplayers who could get serious, and make a nice, steady profit from this game.

Pretty quickly horse betting went from "fun" to something completely different--it became a "grind". My financial obligation in our family was (and still is)--I paid the mortgage every month...and houses in California aren't cheap.

I realized why such a small amount of horseplayers are successful--it takes a unique personality that most of us don't have. I admire anyone who can make a living in this...and take care of his/her financial obligations every month.

Personally, without realizing it I was stressed out, and not a pleasant person to live with. I lasted maybe 4 months--until reality finally took hold--and I knew I had to go back to working a "real" job once again.

It was a relief not to
have to find winners every day--even so I didn't play the races for many months after. It took a couple years for racing to be enjoyable once again.

I imagine there are quite a few others on this forum that had a similar experience.

Why do you care and why do you come to this thread? Many of us appreciate Greg's programs and posts. Feel free to not visit here.

Collaboration , Dude!!!

Share your experiences....Give some ideas......Work together...

Greg put out a good piece of software and I'm sure he didn't get rich with it...
a little feedback could make things a lot better for all.

I was a part of the Handifast Group and realized that i was just talking to myself after a while....so I gave up

Not to piss on your parade Mike, but NorCal has about 46% of the posts in this thread. There are 5,693 posts of which 2,636 are his. I believe many people view this thread while not needing to post. Most of us bought one or more of his software programs and are interested in how they do and Greg does a great job of telling us what works and doesn't via his interesting posts. I don't believe he is wasting his time as he is assisting his purchasers and future purchasers and this is good advertising for him. Just my 2 cents.

PS- Don't give up on Handifast as that is a good program also and everyone's efforts on that project are appreciated too.

I hear you.....

There was a lot more interaction with people in past posts
lately it has just been Greg....
Does anyone have comments to make? ( good or bad )
Success stories?
Favorite tracks, plays ?
Helpful tips?
I think this would be more of an attraction to his program...

I havent given up on HF....money can be made using 3 & 4th selections at good odds...

Are you encouraging more interaction here...or are you trying to get NCG to stop posting? Why does it bother you if there is little interaction here?

TAMPA TOP TRAINER/JOCKEY METHOD

Most of you know of my EXOTIC BETS program. I've used it to finish on the leaderboards of several tournaments...it is a big help.

It handicaps 4 ways--one of my favorites is to play the top trainer/jockey combos. You can hit some nice win-bet longshots--& exactas. All the "work" the user has to do to get these lists--is click a couple buttons.

Below is the top 3 Trainer/Jockey combo list for every race @ Tampa. There are several ways to use this list, I'm sure you can figure it out for yourself. You may not win anything--or with some luck, make yourself some money.

Good Luck

First off, Greg can do whatever he wants ..its his thread and program no matter what I say...
Second, with my Handifast days the comments disappeared like it has here , even after I posted great days.....
I just figured that no one is interested or people moved on....
A little interaction would have gone a long way but......
